The Machray Hall transformation project integrates library, research, administrative, and learning environments for faculty, graduate, and honours thesis students. The design synthesizes the specialized information and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) resources of the library with Faculty of Science expertise. The interior intervention reorganizes the floor plates to accommodate library stacks, informal reading zones, technology distribution nodes, flexible classrooms, dedicated research workstations, and upgraded meeting spaces - all consolidated within a progressive, highly collaborative learning landscape.
