Replacing an obsolete single-pad arena and community hall, this new civic facility features two NHL-sized ice surfaces supported by dedicated player and official change rooms. The program incorporates spectator seating for 900, a 60-person multi-purpose community volume, dedicated meeting rooms, a pro shop, concessions, and administrative offices. Emphasizing the integration of natural daylight throughout all interior volumes, including the rinks, the project achieved LEED Silver Certification and was engineered to operate with a 40% reduction in energy consumption relative to the national energy model for recreational arenas.
