First Leaside Financial Headquarters

Uxbridge, Ontario

2005 -

This 40,000 square foot sustainable office development is designed to house a growing financial securities firm. Located at the western edge of the downtown business district, it will be a contemporary public face for the company while reinvigorating the high street. It is intended to achieve LEED platinum status; as such, roof top planting, natural ventilation and geothermal heating and cooling are incorporated. The choice of a location far from any metropolitan area illustrates the client's interest in creating an alternative contemporary work setting, expressed through the building's relationship to site and nature.
