Bob Goyeche, B.Arch., OAA, MRAIC 20 Years Experience Bob graduated with a B.A. in English from the University of Western Ontario in 1981. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in 1983, and a Bachelor of Architecture in 1985 from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia. After a few years acquiring experience in design and construction documentation, Bob joined Rounthwaite, Dick & Hadley where he assisted in the design and construction documents for the $55M Ontario Government Building, Roberta Bondar Place, in Sault Ste. Marie. This facility includes the headquarters for the 300,000 SF Ontario Lottery Corporation and Ministry of Natural Resources. His following assignments included major roles in three major recreational facilities - London Aquatic Centre in London, Ontario; Tomken Twin Pad Arena in Mississauga; and the Hart House Swimming Pool Renovation and Restoration at the University of Toronto. He followed up these projects with the design and construction documentation of an 11-storey office building for the Royal Bank of Canada at King Street and Spadina Avenue in Toronto. Bob was made principal of the firm in 1997 and has been responsible for the design and administration of a series of high profile project such as: the design of a new corporate headquarters in Mississauga for Mastech Quantum Corporation, an emerging computer software company, an $8M mechanical and electrical retrofit of a downtown 24-hour/7-day a week office building for the Royal Bank; and extensive interior renovations and restoration of Toronto Hydro's historically designated Corporate Headquarters at 14 Carlton Street, Toronto. Recent recreation projects designed by Bob include: Heron Park Community & Recreation Centre, Toronto, Clarkson Community Centre & Library Mississauga, Cornwall Aquatic Centre, Mold Master Sportsplex, Halton Hills and Centre Wellington Recreation Complex. Post secondary work includes the $14.0M, Sally Horsfall Eaton Centre for Studies in Community Health, for Ryerson University and George Brown Toronto City College, two new Student Service Centres for George Brown College at Casa Loma and St James Campuses, and the new Campus Store Building and the Lifespan Development Research Centre both at Brock University in St. Catherines.
