University of Waterloo, RDH RDH was responsible for the design and construction of a $3 million building in 1975 and a major addition to the School of Optometry in 1995 which included laboratories and offices. Both the original building and addition were constructed on time and on budget. The firm was responsible for all architecture and engineering including design, construction documents, field review, and contract administration. The School of Optometry have recently engaged RDH for the design of a second major addition to the building, including the provision for a new 120 seat lecture theater, learning commons and new Public Access Learning Clinic. The project is currently in the conceptual design stage.
